Our story

Laurient medical wear was developed to provide performance medical wear that optimized style and professionalism. During COVID many medical professionals found themselves unable to safely wear traditional office clothing due to the limited ability to dry clean the clothing on a regular basis. It became instantly impractical to wear dress clothes to the hospital given the global conditions. Compounding this issue was the fact that hospitals had long since abandoned unlimited access to scrubs due to cost constraints. As medical professionals began transitioning to scrubs – they quickly realized that while comfort was improved, style and professionalism were being compromised.

Patients and their family members deserve the respect of a well-presented medical professional. There have been numerous studies that have shown a patient feels more confident in their Physician when they are well dressed and neatly groomed. Traditional mass-produced scrubs provided by the hospital rarely appeared elegant. Numerous new brands have attempted to appeal to the medical professional with stylish athleisure-based options. Our medical wear is focused on achieving comfort with our proprietary 4 way stretch fabric while achieving a tailored professional appearance suitable for clinic or hospital-based practice.

Scrub Development

Our scrubs are designed to be light weight with a cooling all-natural fabric that stretches in all directions. The proprietary blend was formulated with artisans whose families have been involved with weaving and fabric manufacturing for almost a century. The fabric allows our scrubs to have a tailored cut while remaining exceptionally comfortable. The special blend is wrinkle resistant and adapts to the body over time.

The fabric and design were challenged in real life scenarios that tested the comfort and durability to the extreme. Special attention was placed on the wearability of the waistband, several designs were evaluated to provide the utmost comfort during long shifts. Our scrubs underwent testing on long haul flights around the world to assess the comfort in cramped and uncomfortable scenarios. The clothing was optimized to allow for breathability and stretch during periods of strain.

Style Inspirations

Our scrubs are styled after classically tailored garments. The pants are designed to be worn at the natural waist with a tapered leg to provide a lean and elegant view. The scrub shirts are tailored with high arm holes to allow for greater flexibility while allowing for a clean close fit. The pants are designed in such a way that they can easily be worn in casual instances should the need arise. One could easily substitute the top for a sweater and transition to a casual after work event seamlessly. Classic design coupled with modern all natural fabrics truly set this product apart from the competition.
